Working Together

Written Material

This article shows how a "team effort" can lead to positive results when planning and facilitating the inclusion of children with disability in mainstream schools. Michael, who has autism, is the centre of this story: his mum, his classroom teacher and his integration aide explain how, as a team, they worked toward the goal of enabling Michael be an active participant in the classroom program from the very beginning of his school life.
