Preschool inclusion: Family and child perspectives

Written Material

This article examines two specific aspects of an inclusive pre-school program: the benefits to the children with disabilities and the benefits to those children without. The authors mainly focus on the latter aspect of the inclusive program, presenting the results of a longitudinal study that showed that children who attended this pre-school as long as 8 years ago still maintain positive attitudes to people with disabilities and high levels of self esteem.
