Peer Education: the child to child approach

This article encourages the use of peers in the inclusive classroom as a way of teachers providing additional help with academic work to individual pupils and/or developing social relationships and gaining practical support for a child with a disability. Above all, peer support attempts to ensure that children in a community or school have a chance to better understand persons who, for whatever reason, are different from themselves.
