This is a personal reflection by an Australian teacher, Joan Dalton, on her journey with co-operative learning in the classroom and the growth of co-operative learning in Australia as it is recognised as a major tool in inclusion. She writes enthusiastically of the value of co-operative learning in helping children accept and value difference, while at the same time helping her manage differences in ways from which everyone can learn and benefit.
