Lynn: An open letter to her teacher

Written Material

Anne Robison's advice to her daughter Lynn's kindergarten teacher, regarding how to facilitate the full inclusion of her daughter into the class through the use of her communication devices, demonstrates how a parent's communication of their intimate knowledge of their child can make an important contribution to the child's education. It also shows how appropriate technological supports can be used to maximise the inclusion of a child who does certain things in different ways in the regular classroom. Watch also for for the positive way in which her mother anticipates Lynn's positive contribution to the classroom and positive relationships with her peers.
