This book, written by teachers, offers practical guidance on how to move teaching and learning toward inclusion. It discusses how the teachers tackled specific restructuring challenges. While they may not have reached full inclusion, they are heading in the right direction. This book aims to share their experiences and advice. The teachers' experience include staff development, collaborating with Special Educators and working with students with behavioural challenges. Other topics in this book include: large scale school change, student assessments, cross-age grouping and integrating students with special needs into regular classrooms.
