Before their son, Mac, started school, the Mattheis family developed a portfolio on Mac which includes pictures, writing and work samples and shows all aspects of Mac's life. This book is added to each year and includes valuable tips and shortcuts for teachers. The family see the Mac Book as a valuable tool which presents their son as a person rather than focussing on his disability. Not surprisingly, it has become the basis of Mac's I.E.P. The article includes suggestions on what to include when compiling a similar portfolio. Keywords: Inclusion, Education, School age
