This handbook is a compilation of presentations given at a Parent Access Workshop. The general theme of the workshop focused on strategies and skills for affecting positive change in the lives of family members with disabilities. It includes chapters on public speaking, lobbying, using the media, communication/negotiation skills, letter writing and conducting meetings.
