This article sets out the obligations of a service broker when seeking to meet the needs of a person with a developmental disability. It covers obligations to the person with the disability as well as obligations to the person's family and friends. It is therefore a guide, not only to service brokers, but also to family and friends as to what expectations to hold around the way the service broker carries out their role.
