Media Guidelines

Book

This well laid out booklet has something to say to every one of us: while the media has enormous power to reflect and shape community perceptions, individuals can also (consciously or unconsciously) act and speak in ways that positively or negatively affect community perceptions of people with disability. 'Media Guidelines' contains advice on appropriate language, avoidance of stereotyping, and communicating with people with disability, as well as advice on researching, writing, reporting and interviewing. Keywords: Attitudes, Community Development
