This article describes one young man's journey from a state residential school to an integrated unit and finally to his neighbourhood high school. The idea of inclusive education for Julian became a reality when he got together with a support team of teachers, family and friends who advocated on his behalf. Their advocacy, dreams and planning also opened up opportunities for other students with disabilities. Keywords: Education, School age
