This presentation was delivered by Sally Richards at Family Advocacy's 2007 Odyssey Conference.

JACKmail is a sole trader postal pick-up and delivery business established in February 2007 to employ Jackson, a 21 year old man with very high support needs. JACKmail gives Jackson the opportunity to: be employed; contribute to his community; meet many small business owners, operators, employees and customers; have a busy, active and interesting life; be a positive example to others; be an ambassador for other people with disability. This article and video describes the establishment of the business from first thoughts some years ago to where it is today.
