This is an inspiring article by Kathie Snow, in which she writes about the importance of thinking about the person first, focusing on their abilities rather than the disability. There is a clear message in favour of inclusion and against segregation in this article, where Kathie Snow bases her views on her son Benjamin's experience. She wanted for her son a life like the life of other kids, so she tried to remove from his routine, as much as possible, all the things that had more to do with Benjamin's disability that with Benjamin himself.
