This article explores the features of friendships between women and those between men and compares them. These features are explored in the context of friendship and disability. Studies referred to have found that able bodied women are more likely to form friendships with people with disabilities because the attributes of friendship between able bodied people and people with disabilities and the attributes of friendship between women, coincide.
