A Circle of Friends is a group of people providing support for a person who is unable to obtain set goals by him or her self. Their involvement is based simply on a wish to support a fellow human being and the focus is the relationship of the person to others and the community. The article describes the development of a circle of friends for a student at a secondary school in Queensland.
