Robert Manga
Robert Manga acquired his disability in 2005 as a result of a hit and run accident. After a stint of traditional inflexible service provision that inhibited his return to normal family and professional life, Robert has been able to manage his own attendant care support. Robert is the President of People with Disability Australia.
 
Judith Ellis
Judith Ellis is a principal of Ellis MacRae & Associates and is the parent of a man who has autism and intellectual disability. Judith has been at the forefront of the move to establish genuinely personalised support arrangements through self directed and family governed mechanisms. Judith currently works with families and organisations in building person centred approaches.
 
Margaret Ward
Margaret Ward directed her daughter’s support service for 11 years.  She assisted Mamre Association Inc (Brisbane) to review and develop their Family Managed Funds program which now assists over 150 families to manage their own funding and direct their family ‘support service.  
 
Trudy Van Dam
Trudy van Dam has been involved in the development of highly individualised support options for individuals with significant support needs since the mid 1980's. She is currently an academic and researcher in the Inclusive Education and Disability programs at the Australian Catholic University where she has been undertaking work in the area of person centred approaches.
 
Karen Fisher
Karen Fisher is Associate Professor at the Social Policy Research Centre at UNSW. Her research interests include the organisation of social services in Australia and China, including disability services, children’s services, constructive evaluation methodology and social policy process.
 
Peter Shergold AC
Peter Shergold was a CEO in the Australian Public Service for two decades including Australia’s most senior public administrator, serving as Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Dr Shergold is now the Macquarie Group Foundation Professor at the Centre for Social Impact.
