Do you - or someone you know - find it easier to gain information by listening to a CD rather than by reading printed material? Are you looking for ideas about how to plan for your son or daughter's future? ‘Stories from the Heart' is drawn from past issues of the journal 'Families for Change'.

On the CD, parents who have a child with disability speak about the ways they have supported their child to live a meaningful life. If you are thinking about your family member's future, then listen to this CD to find out what other families have done!

In "Martin's Story" we hear what it has meant for Martin to attend his local pre-school.
"Power Yeah!" is about Jacob's mother's fight to have him attend his local school.
In "Dare to Dream", Alex's mother talks about how the family's hopes and dreams for Alex have influenced the way that they make plans for his life.
"Amanda's Story" shows how Amanda has been supported, as a young adult, to be involved in a variety of activities.
In "A Job for Mena", Mena's mother talks about how the family planned for what Mena would do when she left school.
