Cooperative Learning and Inclusion" is the video of a presentation made by Mara Sapon-Shevin at a workshop held in Sydney in July 1995. While the workshop was designed mainly for teachers, the content will be of interest to parents and all who seek ways of including children with disabilities in regular classes.
Her inspirational keynote address (which forms the first part of the video) highlights the importance of promoting sharing, understanding and cooperation, and of building up self-esteem in all children, both in and out of the school environment.
Mara Sapon-Shevin is Professor of Education at Syracuse University, New York.
